So what do you guys think of the Milwaukee Bucks' chances of winning the Eastern Conference this year?
Although some people may not like it because sometimes he can become a headache to a team he's on, I like their pickup of Anthony Mason.
The Bucks' three big scorers, Glenn "Big" Robinson, Sam Cassell, and last but not least Ray Allen (who is actually my favorite out of that high scoring trio) are all pretty much small, perimeter players.
They kind of remind of the old "RUN T.M.C." Golden State Warriors with Tim Hardaway, Mitch Richmond, and Chris Mullin. All 3 of those guys were small guys but they were the primary scorers. The Warriors could never find that one guy who could score inside to compliment their perimeter scorers.
But I think the Bucks have found that guy with Anthony Mason. He brings them some interior toughness defensively and a guy who can score inside. He can also handle the ball fairly well for a big man as I've seen him play some point forward before. I think it's a nice situation for him to be going to because he doesn't have to carry the scoring burden. The other 3 guys can do that. |

Yeah I like their head coach too, George Karl. I think he's one of the most underrated coaches in the N.B.A.
He had some success with the Warriors. He helped turned around the Seattle Supersonics when he was there. And he's helped turn around the Milwaukee Bucks since he's come there.
He's the only guy who could control Gary Payton too. Sure him and Payton would have their stare downs but for the most part Payton respected Karl and would never go after him like he did Paul Westphal. Plus Karl gets that crazed look in his eye himself like he's a psycho and I don't think I'd want to mess with him either, hehe. |

Yeah Carl is a pretty crazy looking coach when he gets fired up , I've seen him in action in 1 of the past Seatlle games. Payton is not necessarily a bad boy, out of control type of player 2 a coach but he can be a very intimidating one. George had 2 do exactly that 2 him & not 2 mention the 'Reign Man.' As of Ray Allen, I like him, he was 1 of my favourite players until he said smart comments regarding MJ & the Wizards! I still like him but not as much He should be more like T-Mac who has repect 4 MJ even after his team defeated them |

I think what's going to give the Bucks an advantage over the other Eastern Conference teams in their quest for the #1 seed in the East is guess what with that last Western Conference road trip they just had, that's it. That's the last time the Bucks have to play a Western Conference team on the road this regular season.
And I think that's huge because as the East race tightens up, all those other East teams will be taking lumps out West while the Bucks don't have to go out there anymore. |
