Good points all.

Remember that NBC only gets the home games. So I think NBC will give a little nudge to the Atheletic department to make sure that the home scheudling is a T.V. friendly. I think you might see less and less of Navy At Notre Dame.

No offence to any midshipmen out there I just think the football program is a joke.

But your point of Notre dame in the BCS when they were weak. I think that when the current BCS contract is up that you won't see a team that was weak like Notre Dame that year in any of the BCS games unless they expand the BCS bowl to like the Cotton bowl or something of that nature.

I don't think it's unreasonable for them to look at what Willingham's done and put the bank into Notre Dame again, as the ratings will probably go up.

maybe all of that is true but the ratings will probably not go up. All the sports ratings for big evenst are down and i dont see them rising for a very long time.

Well I thought all sports ratings were going down across the board except for the N.F.L.?

I thought that was the one constant that was still high and since Notre Dame is football and football with tradition, not like the Arena Football League or N.F.L. Europe, I would say, why not.
