Ive always like McGriff. He is a borderline HOFer in my eyes as he has managed to avoid a late career drop-off as most players do. Who knew he hit 30 homers and drove in 103 last season? He is quietly one of the most consistent players in baseball today, 4th on the active career HR list. _________________ Justin Lieber |

They probably would have wanted to get someone younger though....., but I think they someone in the farm system they are developing to play first. _________________ It takes a lot of punishment to be able to do anything to change the social order.

I wonder how long he can keep up that production but he should be able to provide a little bit of leadership to that team. _________________ It takes a lot of punishment to be able to do anything to change the social order.

Well we couldn't get Cliff Floyd or Jeff Kent so we ended up with McGriff.
*sigh* Oh well. |
