its hard to believe that anyone is worth 13 mil a year, but i'm sure he will get it if they don't give it to him. baseball needs to lower its salaries these are like cartoon numbers _________________ http://sportsatorium.blogspot.com/ |

yeah i understand that, but baseball is far less popular than football and hardly anyone in football makes 13 million a year. I know they can get it, and by all means they should if they can, but why? seems ridiculous that doctors that see patients and save their lives maybe make 130k a year and they can play a game and make 13 mil. Entertainment is very powerful... _________________ http://sportsatorium.blogspot.com/ |

Can't agree more. I mean that is a ton of money for someone in a league that has fallen to second rank. It's hard to believe that baseball owners have enough cash to pay these guys this kind of money the way things are going. _________________ http://sportsatorium.blogspot.com/ |

But remember, Lincecum is still young and is a very good pitcher. No reason to not lock him up for a couple years. _________________ Grossman wasn't really that bad... ok maybe he was.. but still BEARS 4 SUPERBOWL! |

Yeah I can see locking him up for like 5-6 years, just can't help but wonder what 2 years will do for the Giants. I think he is getting 2 more good years carrying that team, breaks the bank and goes Carl Pavano on who ever gives him a huge deal. _________________ http://sportsatorium.blogspot.com/ |
