Yeah, the Yankees are good in the regular season but they really shine in the post season.

Wow, EL Duque didn't do so well today...
Neither did Maddux....
NY is still up 2-1 and Arizona leads Atlanta 3-1 now. I guess we know who will be in the World Series now...

During the regular season, and just as a team, Seattle in my opinion is the better team than the Yanks. But with the postseason inexperience for Seattle, and the Yankees simply being the Yankees in the postseason, Seattle didn't stand a chance.
At least it's not Yanks-Braves...Go D-Backs! represent the NL West |

Go Yankees, represent NY!
We know they pretty much won. Schilling and Johnson can only take Arizona so far. Plus Mussina, Clemens, and Pettitte aren't too bad either..

Well my tennis coach jumped the bandwagon AGAIN yesterday. He comes to practice wearing a damn Yankees hat. He's always cheered for the Tribe and I'm angry at the trader. I hate it when people do that.
GO D-BACKS! |

You are a Yankee fan Ross?
You live in Texas, shouldn't you be a fan of the Rangers or Astros? (Well, I can see not rooting for the Rangers--but the Astros are a good team.)
Please don't tell me you are one of those people that says, "I root for the Yankees cause they are the best." |

| Yeah a friend of mine is a huge fan of Michigan. He's never been to Michigan, and he doesn't know anyone who's been to Michigan. And the weird thing is, his parents are huge OSU fans...ugh |

Alot of non-NY'ers like the Yankees. I'm an NY'er who doesn't like them though. I'll root for them over Arizona though...

I hate those bandwagon people...if you are a fan of a team, then you like them when they win and they lose.
I don't think it really matters where you are from to be a fan of a team. I'm a Padre fan because I grew up watching Tony play. I'm a Chargers fan because my nieghbors were big Charger fans, and they are the people that introduced me to the sport, took me to my first games. I'm not a fan simply because I live here. |
