Kobe's good but he's past his prime, Lebron will be much better than Kobe in due time..... _________________ The Ultimate Sport Source |

Toss up really....though over the next few years that will probably change. Lebron just doesn't quite have a supporting cast at this point in his career. _________________ Love the Mavs, Cowboys, and Rangers, but live out on the West Coast...

This a great argument of who is better. Here is my opinion. They are both good and are true players. The one obvious thing is Kobe has 'Rings' and LeBron doesn't.
I think Kobe is better than LeBron, especially when Kobe first entered the NBA. LeBron is a terrific player, but it is a sly off of Kobe's athleticism. |

From the little I see, I'd take Lebron. When all is said and done, this guy will probably go down as one of the best to have played the game. He hasn't won a ring yet, but he lots of time. And I think he is a better player than Kobe, and he isn't a distraction, which is a big pro for him. _________________ www.chiefswarpath.com |

Well, my favorite player is Kobe. He is not a "dirty" player like most NBA players.
LeBron, I have to say is one of the best "all around" players in the NBA right now.
Another thing is, people need to stop comparing them two. They don't play the same position. It is like comparing Dwight Howard to Derek Fisher. It just doesn't make a whole lot of sense. |

Well said...not only do they not play the same postion(though they are similar in height, only difference of a couple inches), but they have different types of games...Kobe is more the scorer and finisher...while LeBron is more a facilitator, then he will score if need be...he's starting to develop the art of finishing that Kobe has got down pat...though at the moment i have to say LeBron is better overall as a player...better passer and rebounder...mainly because how many championships you've won shouldn't be in this discussion because thats more about the team around them...if the discussion included championships it'd be Kobe hands down _________________ INDIANS....Finally the season has ended

You're right about the championships. It is all about the team. But like Stan Van Gundy said in the Game 5 press conference, he doesn't know of any team who has won a championship without good players. Let's think of the past 10 years or so.
Lakers had- Shaq and Kobe when they won 3 championships together.
Pistons had- The Wallace's, Rip, and everyone else.
The Spurs had- Tim Duncan, Ginoboli, Parker, Horry, etc.
Celtics had- Garnett, Allen, Pierce, etc.
Now the Lakers had- Kobe, Gasol, Odom, Fisher, Ariza as the starting lineup. (I knew they would win this year.)
So I challenge anyone to tell me about a team that won without great players. |

There isn't any ...ecspecailly these days with the players being as athletic and skilled as they are, you have to have at least 2 if not 3 at least all-star players or better to win or sometimes even contend for a championship _________________ INDIANS....Finally the season has ended
