This is ridiculous. I respect what Jordan did for the game, but there is no arguing that many other players had similar impacts on the game. Take Bird, Magic and Oscar Robertson for example... If you want to give up 23, do it. Let other players decide for themselves.
Is this a PR move? Why else would he make such a request. And I might be the only one thinking this, but isn't Lebron's act getting a little old already? Between him stirring up free agency rumors, wearing Yankees basketball shoes and this act, I really can't stand watching the Cavs play anymore. I know Lebron is bigger than the game, but the season (and his career) is young and I am already growing tired of the coverage of Lebron.
