I've read before that Kobe's become such a headache that the Lakers should trade him for comparable talent but I don't think so because the Lakers, their last 2 games have lost by 21 at Phoenix and got slammed by 24 points on their home floor by the Kings last night.
The Lakers miss Kobe. Whether they want to admit it or not, they need his playmaking skills.
I saw the game last night and the Lakers did not put out the effort defensively and had a lot of mental lapses offensively. And you would think with Kobe out and Shaq probably the more likable guy in the locker room that the rest of the team would play hard for him but that's not the case.
The Lakers need both Shaq and Kobe. End of story.
