When will the knicks start to make some smarter moves in terms of trades, etc !?!?
They have the largest salary in the NBA and are, arguably, one of the worst teams!

I honestly think lately that Isiah has been part of the solution and not the problem. Getting Zach Randolph for basically nothing is a great move. The Knicks now have by far the best frontcourt in the East and one of the better backcourts as well. If they can learn to play some defense this year they should be contending in the East.

Just remember the Knicks were in good shape last year before they lost Jamal Crawford, Quentin Richardson and David Lee for the season due to injuries (Marbury missed a good chunk of the last two months as well). At one point they were in position for the #7 seed in March but the injuries took a toll on them.

Stephon marbury wants to go to Italy to play there, so it doesn't look like the Knicks are going anywhere soon, sorry bro.

Isiah is the main reason they are where they are. On the bottom.

Thing is even some bad teams make the playoffs in the East. Diehard Knick fan I acknowledge, but I really think I can see them being one of the top 4 or 5 teams in the conference, and that's not something that I've been saying about them on here every season.

It would certainly help if they landed Ron Artest too, as some rumors have it.

It is really sad to see a team with as much money as the yanks and still cant win 40 games. They have too much money tied up now. It'll be a while, unfortunately, until they're decent
