I think that this is the best move the Cubs could have made with Wood, and they should have done it a few years ago. He can't seem to get through a season without getting injured, but his stuff is so good, you can't let him get away. I think he will be a good closer this year. _________________ www.chiefswarpath.com |

I think that this is a can't miss opportunity for the Cubs. He still has great stuff, and his power is great for the closer spot. I am looking forward to seeing how he does in that role. _________________ www.chiefswarpath.com |

He was going to be a reliever either way, and this worked out to their advantage since they were desperate for a closer.
We'll see how he transitions. Closing is a whole different thing from starting. You have to be on your game as soon as you step on the mound because the game might be on the line from the first pitch. _________________ Free online football game simulator: http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=993 |

| I like woods as a closer, because I'm a cards fan, and he has done very poorly so far. He has blown save after save, including giving up a 3 run lead to the brewers on Thursday |
