Kanye West has quickly become one of the most well know artist out today.....i think that he will be around for a long time because of what he says and talks about in some of his songs that many other artist would never dare sing about...like his current song jesus walks.

| Not the best but he is good. Hasn't made enough songs to be the best and really isn't as good as the best there was. |

he will evently become the best i think better then all of them because of the meanings of his songs. he doesnt talk about killing, women he wants to have sex with, ext. he swears a little.. he took a huge step and rapped about god in jesus walks.....soo i htink he will evently make it to the top of all charts

He is the best at what he does right now i think....but the best of all time has to go to Tupac...but i definatley like Kanye's CD,College Dropout,its one of the best CD's to come out in the last couple years.

kanye is such an inovator in a way that nobody else was or still is. he brings something fresh consistantly everytime he drops a beat or a rhyme, and he sees things through a view that is leftfield and show it to us through he unique talent. maybe not the best ever. but he's having a dramatic career turn this year that's blown us all out of the water. he's killin it right now.

are you serious?!? there is NOBODY like tupac. NOBODY! he is the most passionate, innovative, heart-felt, truthful, skilled, inspirational, and gifted lyricist to ever live in the world of hiphop! if anything, tupac taught kanye what he knows. and i'll bet you KANYE would say the same.

No doubt that tupac was all of the things you said... and that he probobly taught kanye everything he knows and does. But that doesnt stop the fact that kanyes lyrics are very meaningful and inspirational much like tupacs. I see alot of tupac in kanye west, and i think one day kanye will be as good or better than tupac. You cant argue that Kanye isnt the best thing since tupac.

I wouldn't go so far as to say Kanye will be as big as Tupac; maybe one day, but I wouldn't bet on it anytime soon. Kanye is, by far though, one of the best rappers out there today. He puts most of the BS being played like Chingy, Lil Jon, etc. to shame. The only other current artists I can think of that compare lyrically are Eminem and Jay-Z, although I don't like the particular things they choose to rap about.
