Just wondering what anyone thought of this:http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601103&sid=am3Zn6yTONO4
I don't think the punishment fits the crime. It appears to some that Duncan got tossed for just laughing, but I think it was more a thinly veiled taunt. And I really doubt Crawford asked Duncan to step outside. That was probably taken out of context when he allegedly asked "Do you want to fight?". Probably like a cop asking you if you want to argue about your ticket when you start complaining too much. Meanwhile, one of the best NBA refs is out for the post-season. |

You can't really judge a laugh as a thinly vieled taunt in a split second, which is exactly what joe did while i watched the game, joe just got alittle too excited for a minute and did something that was quite out of line for a ref. i've never seen anyone get a technical for something so...wierd as laughing, a T for laughing? while at the same time he has no clear idea what he's laughing at, it could be a joke that a teammate told him. that's just rediculous. that's one of the things that you just have to let pass. it may not have been necessarily wheckless on joe's part, he may have known what he was doing, but it did get out of line. and we have other great refs in the playoffs this season. _________________ "If you are going to argue about statistics, then you BETTER have the statistics right."

I saw the incident on Sportscenter, and I thought it was very strange. I always thought that Duncan was a pretty stand-up guy, one of the nicest guys in the NBA. I don't think I have ever seen him get riled up about anything, and he always seems quiet. He has let his game do his talking.
It really is hard to tell what truly happened down there on the court, though, from our comfy chairs at home. _________________ www.chiefswarpath.com |

crawford should have ignored the bench and their chatter and be focused on whats going on during the game and making the calls _________________ Show me a guy whos afraid to look bad, and I'll show you a guy you can beat every time. |
