What exactly constitutes a sport? Is it just physical fatigue or competition between one or more sides? What's your say on the following? Are they sports?
- Snooker
- Poker
- Darts
- Chess
I'd say they can very well be named "sports", and pretty much the only difference, as I see it, is the lack of physical effort put in them. Is that what sports are really about? |

Well to be honoust, me fellow Dutch friend =P, I do not think Snooker Poker and stuff are sports. In my opinion you have to put in physical effort to call it a sport. For example in a sport school, like CIOS, you do not play Chess or Darts or Snooker. I think we should call these Semi Sports or something =P _________________ Lakers-Barcelona-Hotspur-Feyenoord

They aren't sports because you don't need to put very much effort into them. At-least this is my opinion.
