| I basically choose the team I root for based on location; i.e. I root for teams that are from Texas b/c that where I'm from, but over the years I've developed loyalties to other teams. Basically, I'm curious how you developed your loyalty to a team that isn't local, and isn't obvious. By not obvious, I mean: You're from Florida yet you're a SD Chargers fan. Why? |

Yeah Patrick said it clearly my dad was born and raised in Tennessee and he was a fan of the Houston Oilers then they moved here in Nashivlle and ever since then my dad has bought PSL tickets each year. So basically i'd pick by location......

I root for the Cubs, Bears, and Bulls (oh my!) because my family is from Chi-Town (Northside for purposes of the Cubs)

i like to root for teams that are not close to my area.............coz everyone around here likes 1 certain team or somethin like that

As I grew up, the Chiefs were the regional team, so I took to them, with a little help from my parents.
As for baseball, I got into it watching Sosa and McGuire swinging for the record. I stayed hooked, and took to Sosa and the Cubs. It is good to see Sosa back and playing. As for the Royals, I like them as well, being the regional team.

I just choose a team which is the most popular. 
just kiding. 
Hear were I live everyone is for one club so am I.But in other ligues I am fan of the club which has best players or one special player.  |
