Greetings --
According to this news article from the official GHO web-site, the Greater Hartford Open will have the Buick Corporation on board as its primary sponsor from 2004 to 2006.
That's the GOOD NEWS. Now for the BAD NEWS --
The event will be known as the Buick Championship. This, Buick says, "keeps it consistent" with the names of the other three PGA Tour events they sponsor -- The Buick Invitational (aka San Diego Open) in La Jolla, Cal; The Buick Classic (aka Westchester Classic) in Rye, NY; The Buick Open (same name since 1958) in Grand Blanc, Mich.
