This year's is led by newcomers Ozzie Smith, Andre Dawson, and Frank Viola while Gary Carter and Jim Rice lead the returning group from last year.
Here is the complete ballot:

Some great players there. I remember when all three of the "newcomers" were still playing. I was a little young, but I knew they were great players. Can't wait to see who gets admitted this year.

Nope, his numbers just aren't much better if you compare him to other 1st base men who also aren't in the hall.

| i think mattingly deserves to be there, compared to a lot of the others on that list anyways...id like to hope that the HoF voters considered intangibles as well as they considered statistics, but you are right, they probably dont. |
