should tiger win golfer of the year award again? u do have other contendors like mike weir, vijay singh, davis love 3rd, etc. who should win in ur mind?

Tiger should win it. The Money Title isn't all that important. Tiger has more victories, the scoring average lead and his victories counted for more than Singhs.

vijay played better golf this year than tiger, but it happens like this all the time. the most notciable/popular anything always wins

I disagree. Tiger had the better year. He had the stroke average, he won more tournaments that counted for more in fewer appearances.

The only thing Vigay has is the money title and you can't really compare that with any of the things Tiger has.

Tiger deserved to win. EVen though he does look better with all the publicity, he still deserves it.

Tiger exactly.. best to ever play the game. Not only did he have the best stats, but he brings in the most golf viewers, that's golfer of the year award material to me..

Well, I don't really know if being the best ever or bringing in the most viewers should play into Golfer of the Year (based only on play during that year), but as far as stats, yeah... the numbers don't lie and they were in his favor.
