I disagree that defense wins championships.
I believe that all around game wins championships. The Spurs believe it or not are one of the most dominant offenses, they have a post player in Duncan, they can fire the three, and they have guards like Finley and Parker who can get to the rim.
Forcing turnovers is what its about and two of the top three teams in turnover ratio are Golden State and Phoenix. It just doesn't look that way.
Golden State is tired. Carlos Boozer single handedly dominated the Warriors in Game 4. The Jazz unlike the Mavs are forcing the ball inside and pounding the Warriors, tiring them out.
I still see Phoenix beating San Antonio and I still see a Phoenix/Detroit Finals.

i think that the cavs can take detroit in the finals
unfortenitly it looks like times about to run out for the warriors which sucks because i really liked watching them play
baron davis's dunk was incredible it reminded me of what vince carter did to zo last year

I think that the bad news for you is that you may get stuck watching a Spurs/Pistons final this year. That defense still wins championships. |
well its tru that defense wins championships..........im pretty sure someday in the future a team will come out and prove the odds that a offensive minded team will win, they just have to play decent D and i think thats all they need.........PHX almost did that against the spurs if it wasnt for that suspensions in game 5
