How about Barry Bonds in Colorado today? Homers #61, #62, and #63!

I'll be surprised if he doesn't break the record now.

am i the only one that hates this? i think this is horrible for the game of baseball to see everyone walking all over a baseball legend in Ruth and a historic record (well it was) of 61 HRs...to see Sosa and Mac do it a few years ago was fine, the record lasted almost 40 years it was bound to be broken and it couldnt have happened to 2 better guys...but for it to get so repetitive is insulting to Maris and Ruth, and for Barry Bonds to do it! aaaagggggghhhhhhh

I don't think that it is insulting... its a different time period and it means different things.
