George O'Leary's illustrious run at Notre Dame has come to an end.
In his remarkable run with the Irish, he never even lost a game. With an achievment like that it shouldnt even matter that he never won one either.
Ahh, the memories. Do you remember when George turned around the Notre Dame football program and lead them to a national title? Of course you dont, because it never happened.
But that shouldnt stop us from taking one last look at his career at Notre Dame and acknowldge his brilliance. I wil miss you Geroge O'Leary. Now please join me in simply standing...and applauding the Greatest Notre Dame coach since Lou Holtz, as he rides off into the sunset. |
