Here, in Nashville, it just got back down below $2 yesterday. It got up to over $3 during the whole Katrina/Wilma fiasco.

It's pretty much hovering around $2 here in Texas too. It's amazing how gas prices have dropped since the oil companies reported record profits for the 3rd quarter in'05.

in baltimore its hovering around 2.20 which im not to happy about... hopefully it drops a little before the summer when demand is higher.

Yeah you know the reason the gas prices fluctuated so much during katrina is because the media instilled fear in people that we were going to have a shortage. We were willing to get the same amount of gas at a higher price. Simple economics if we bought less gas they would lower there prices.

I cant wait till they raise the minimum wage. It will cause gas to go up about 20 cents a gallon easy.
