Fred had back problems in the past few years and wasn't even ranked in the top 100 golfers last year.
I remember seeing him win the Buick Open about ten years ago. Everyone there chanted "Freddy" louder than any concert that I've ever been to. I'll never forget it. He's a big favorite in Michigan. |
