3+ years of tension led up to today. The game was a great game if anyone saw it...but I guess Flutie won it Johnson played better then I woulda ever thought, he showed a lot of guts playing after he hurt his foot, and after he got really shaken up on the last drive. But it still wasn't enough. I can tell, though, just from watching this one, Johnson will be a big quarterback in the near future.

Justin,

I don't agree. His performance showed very little to me and I can't say he'll be a "big quarterback." Sorry.

Johson was playing behind a horrible offensive line, and against a very good defense. Granted, he never found many people to throw to (credit Chargers secondary) , but he showed great mobility in the pocket scrambling for many first downs. And the guy was beat up and bruised and I think he played very well rallying the Bills back from an alomst sure loss.

Guess it's an opinion thing...who woulda thought Id be defending Johnson at the end of the day?

Despite all the good i have said about him...the only way Johnson will succeed is if he stays healthy (which for him will be hard) and learns some sportsmanship.

Patrick,
I also do not see Flutie as a "big quarterback", but he makes big plays, and will not always put up big numbers. He's a leader, and a main reason as to why the Bolts are having a great season so far.

Taking Rob Johnson over Flutie was a huge mistake for the Bills. Him playing one average game this season doesnt prove a thing. Flutie is a winner, and Johnson is well.....you know what he is if you have seen him play this year.
