...but he sure looked bad missing that easy layup...a few years ago he woulda dunked that thing. I'm sure he'll improve though.
I was hoping he would score 23 points in his return, oh well. |

M.J. with a less than stellar debut last night with 7 for 21 shooting and 19 points.
I saw he did have a nice move, going left on Sprewell and hitting the scoop shot.
I didn't see the game but I heard he got tired at the end, which is expected. And I saw the highlight of him missing the three point shot at the end of game which would have tied the game. He came up short and that might have been a symptom of being worn out.
I guess the best thing you could say about the Wizards as a team is that they were good enough to stay with the Knicks. |

time will tell..at 38 years. he will just take a little longer to get his act his act together and build his stamina. being older and smarter now he could be pacing himself till the all star break...."we'll see"

A better 2nd performance by Michael Jordan last night. He didn't shoot that well from the field (13 of 30) but he had 31 points. But his team wins by 10 so I'm sure Michael will take it. Like I said before, I like what Atlanta's done in the off season so I would call that a quality win especially on the road for a team like Washington.
He also showed some vintage "Air Jordan". He had a sweet wrap around shot for a layup, driving right. It was kind of reminiscent of that awesome shot he had against the Los Angeles Lakers in the 1991 N.B.A. Finals. He also had a thunderous tomahawk dunk driving down the right side of the lane. |
