On Saturday night , The Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadians will finish the season , ironically , against each other.
Meanwhile , The New York Islanders will have their hands full with back to back road games. First up , the under-achieving Philadelphia Flyers. The Flyers would love nothing more than to spoil the Islanders playoff aspirations.
In their final game , the Islanders travel to the swamp to do battle with the Devils. Though , depleted , the devils are always tough at home , with their style of play and Martin Brodeur(if he plays).
My Prediction: The Toronto Maple Leafs Make The Playoffs
My Reason: Kaberle & McCabe Point Shots
Halak`s Inexperience
Islanders Lose Both Games _________________ New York Rangers

| I really hope the Leafs make the playoffs. I definately think that whoever wins tonight will make it, because I don't see the Islanders beating New Jersey on Sunday. |

Devils don't really need the game though so I wouldn't be surprised to see them sit Brodeur, and the Islanders are heating up a bit, coming off of three straight wins. With the Devils/Islanders/Rangers playing each other, the home team doesn't really matter.
I wouldn't be surprised to see either of the 3 make it. I'll take Toronto though. |

| Well Brodeur is playing to set the record for most single season wins. |

Ehh, the team wasn't going to risk him being injured for the playoffs just to set a personal record, besides such a record is really not that significant now that there are no ties in the NHL. It will likely be broken quite a few times in the next decade or so.
Crazy game this afternoon though and a heartbreaker for Leafs fans, especially after watching that tying goal with less than a second left. |

Seriously..I got a little overexcited when the Devils scored that goal with 0.9 left..only to be let down in shootouts.
I despise shootouts |
