ESPN's bottom line scrolled across stating that by Wednesday this week, Brett Favre will be a Tampa Bay Buccaneer.
Thoughts?

its sad that it had to end this way, i really wanted him to end his career in green bay but i guess if this is the way it has to be then it has to be

Well, leave it to ESPN to make a liar out of me. Brett Favre has been traded to the NY Jets for a conditional draft pick in 2009. It will start as a 4th round pick, but can upgrade to a second or first based on performance incentives.
As another incentive, if the Jets were to trade Favre to the Vikings, then the Packers would receive 3 first round draft picks.

man when me and my friends first heard about it, we thought he got traded just for a 4th round draft pick..........we all thought that was a slap to the face especially for what he did for them in all the years he played for them, but then we found out that it goes up as he plays better
someone told me wouldnt it be funny if brett played like crap on purpose just to make green bay get a low pick

are u serious dude??? thats sad, its quite obvious this is his last season, and it would've been a great way to end it with the Packers....not the Bucs |
