Can you guys tell me a classic game that didn't have a great storyline? That's one of the most important keys in a game.

No. In the past, games needed to have a good storyline, cause the graphics were crap. Now that graphics have gotten really good, there occationally is an empashis there rather than the story. THat was a huge debate involving Goldeneye. In that case, the designers went with gameplay w/ crap graphics rather than awsome graphics w/ crap gameplay.

The old Mario games are the best. I still use my NES from time to time. When I play a game, I want good control, and good gameplay. Goldeneye is a good example of this. The new Bond games are a Bad example of this.

I also usually conciter multiplayer capibibly for games. I bought Perfect Dark for this alone.

We all know what he meant by "entertainment." Besides, we already have a video game discussion going on.

yeah but for its time the mario games had to the best stories (besides FF games) around. Save the princess before the monster, who captured her, destroys her and the world....

tell me a better storyline than that.....

it may be the most overused story, but still.... the best
