Yeah thats how I felt about Green Street. I thought it would be an average film but now I think it's one of the best sports movies I've seen. I don't think they get any more brutal thats for sure. |

I have not seen the rash of movies that came out in the last year or so, but Hoosiers is always a good classic sports film I will stop down on. Funniest sports movie is caddyshack although it is not technically a sports movie.
Oh yeah I totally forgot about slapshot. _________________ Bleacher Sports |

For me, this is MY top ten of all-time:
1. Caddyshack
2. Major League
3. Rocky I
4. The Rookie
5. Rudy
6. The Longest Yard (original)
7. Miracle
8. Glory Road
9. Field of Dreams
10. Tin Cup
I may change it once "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby" comes out. That movie looks like one of Will Ferrell's best! _________________ My Teams:

| Angles in the out field. I love that movie. Also Rocky because it was done in philly and is kind of interesting. Both movies are good too. |

I'm a big fan of Any Given Sunday, which has a pretty cynical take on the football industry which I like. But besides that, it does an incredible job at actually capturing what a football game looks and feels like, even if it doesn't use real NFL teams; the sports scenes are great and there are a lot of them.
And unlike He Got Game, another cynical take at sports, Sunday at least has a happy ending. _________________ Worst Hall of Fame snubs? Answer questions, win prizes. www.KnowBalls.com |

I'd say Rudy is my favorite sports movie, loved it. _________________ 'You're 5-foot nothin', 100-and-nothin', and you have nearly a speck of athletic ability.
