AudioGalaxy has potentially damaging spyware in the system. Attempts to remove it will render your Internet connection unusable.
http://www.kazaa.com is a better file sharing system, so I hear. AudioGalaxy has nothing but problems though...

i heard about the spyware but didnt really know what this was...in the words of wedge: "explain some more please..."
actually now that LAUNCHcast is back up ive kinda put my napster replacement search on hold, but ill check out that link  |

The spyware in AudioGalaxy is used to transmit what they describe as "connection information" and other demographics to some company in Canada.
That's what they SAY. Who knows what they're really getting.
AudioGalaxy will not function without the spyware, and if you attempt to uninstall the spyware, your Internet connection will break and you will have file corruption that could force a reformat of your hard drive just to get the junk off.
If I could get to the board with it, I'd find a link to a CNet discussion with a lot of information on it.
