I didn't like that you had to shake the dead/knocked out people to get their inventory. And it had way too many movies and cutscenes towards the end.

I know what you mean, the only gripe I have about it(so far) is that the missions take a little too long to finish.

You could also try a squad based game like JA2 if controlling large amounts of forces gets boring.
