True, but Lewis isn't a choice and Brooks was voted best this year.

I voted for Vick, Johnson, Brodeur, Duncan, Holdsclaw, Stewart, Feldman, Hoya, Santos, Woods, Sorenstam, Donovan, Luckenbill, Sampras, S. Williams, Guerrouj and Devers.

I think Holmes getting in there over Ricky is arguable...

Ricky had 5 less TDs but like 200 more yards and was more durable, playing in all 16 games and he even edged Holmes out in yards per game by a little. There is a difference in fumbles. But, its arguable for sure.

But remember, Holmes got injured for about 3 games, so that could of got 200 right there.

That would have been like 400!

The key is durability. Faulk could probably rack up 2,000 yards if he played every game.

It seems to me that many of the guys I think should win aren't even options. That bites.

I voted Vick, Bonds, Giguere, Duncan, Leslie, Schumaker, Williams Jr., Lewis, Santos, Woods, Sorenstam, Beckham, Katia, Agassi, Serena, Montgomery, Devers.

I think Holmes getting in there over LT is arguable too, but I don't think we need to have this discussion again

I wish they brought back the plays of the year.

Well, LT was good, but he wasn't the leading rusher, either... that is basically the wealth of my claim.

vick folds when he has to face some competition. See bucs games. The best nfl player should probably be the best against the best and vick wasnt. He gets my award for best nfl athlete. holmes scorched the leagues best run d at the time. See denver, raiders, chargers games. Williams got a big chunk of his yards against the bears and bills not some of the nfl elite. He didnt do well in lambeau against a weak rush d that was tore up by the likes of warrick dunn and curtis martin. LT was great at the beginning but faded when they need him most. But he had a great second effort against a very good denver d that jsut plain gobbled him up the first time around.

How do you determine rushing defense? Rushing yards allowed per game?
