From ESPN.com:

Quote:
Durant, an 18-year-old freshman and The Associated Press Player of the Year, said Tuesday he will leave the Longhorns to enter the June draft, bringing a quick end to what was a short but spectacular college career.

Durant does, however, plan on finishing the spring semester rather than withdrawing from the university, ESPN.com's Andy Katz reports.

Good deal for him. He probably should have gone out of high school, but, no dice there. He will be solid in the NBA, I think.

He and oden couldve gone out of high school but the new rule that says they have to play at least one college season before the nba held them back. In a few years with hard training he'll be a kobe or gilbert arenas for some lucky team.
