With tim donaghy set to go on 60 minutes this sunday, His book hitting the general public today on some of the online shopping heavyweights like Amazon and Createspace. More and more people are taking an interest in the "bias" based refereeing done by some of the NBA's trusted ref's. And its not like this happened so long ago, to where these ref's dont work the court anymore, THEY ARE STILL OUT THERE!!!!! So i stop and think for a minute, Most fiction is born from facts.......

Any thoughts?

I think referees are human, and in the NBA sometimes you see guys get caught up in all the drama which is why you sometimes see the home teams and the stars getting all the calls. I think the officiating in the NBA is terrible, and it's unacceptable and hurts the game, but I don't think there's any bias or actual fixes in the sense that Donaghy has claimed.

You know the officiating is terrible when they have to make a new rule you can't take more than two steps before passing shooting or dibbling. Hello didn't they make that rule when basketball was created

Well the actual rule in the NBA was that you were only allowed one step, but judging from the fact that almost everyone including myself thought two steps was the rule already, you see how some of the rules have actually been enforced in the NBA.

Maybe next year star guards will no longer be allowed to palm the ball.

I am very dissapointed in the referring this season, the only game that I went to this season where I spent my hard earned money on some great seats was against the Hawks where the Celtics were winning the whole game till the refs kicked our coach Doc Rivers out of the game and then gave a third technical fowl in a minute and we ended up losing the game cause of the discusting calls. The refs suck.
