Well I don't think the Rams D is near ours, near is more of an interpretation word, it means different things to all of us.

The point I was making was that if you are going to trash Fiedler and Our QBs and say that because of that we aren't in the Rams league, I think we need to look at the whole picture. Offense, Defense and Special Teams.

I'm not saying the Dolphins are as good as the Rams, but they aren't that far away overall.

We have a better Special Teams and a better Defense in my opinion. The Rams have the best offense in football and I think the Dolphins have a Top 6 to 8 offense now with Ricky.

But if you count Fiedler, you might not be a top 6 to 8 offense.

Ill agree the Fins Special Teams is better. Especially after watching their punter that one game .

The problem is, is that without a good QB, it is very hard to win in this league. Granted Baltimore managed to pull it off a couple seasons ago, it isnt likely to happen very often. Last season Fiedler's QB rating was 80.3, not horrible, but not close to Warner's 101.4. Fiedler had a TD-INT ratio of 20-19...Alex Van Pelt had a better ratio than that. These arent all-star, take your team to the Super Bowl numbers.

Im not saying Fiedler is horrible, and Im defintely not saying that he cannot improve (with the addition of Ricky, he probably will). He just hasnt proven himself and therefore cannot be considered in a comparison with the Rams.

Defense: St. Louis allowed 10 less yards a game last season then Miami, had 4 more INTs, allowed 1 less PPG, had 10 more sacks. Yet St. Louis' defense is no where near Miami's? With the loss of Fletcher it's close.

No Wedge, I said that they are a Top 6-8 offense now - with Fiedler.

In my opinion, Fiedler is a Top 10-14 QB in the NFL right now. Maybe that isn't saying much, but he has played solid football and he improved last year and he will improve this year.

Justin, since we have already voiced our opinion about the defenses, and you have an answer to everything I say about them, I will not talk about them any longer on this thread.

I was just joking Pat. I just don't like Fiedler that much. Maybe it was just the Jet game where he threw 2 interceptions returned for touchdowns...

Ok, I mean that wasn't his best game, but if you look at the tape, one of those picks at least was not his fault. James McKnight bobbled the football right to Aaron Glenn, it was a solid throw.

How about the scrambling throw that Victor Green batted down and ran back for a touchdown..

The Jets' offense was so horrible that game. Testaverde threw for like 70 yards

Well Chris, there were two picks, my point was that he didn't have a completely bad game, not everything is/was his fault.

Cris Carter will meet with us again next week. TSN said that he "has a serious screw loose" for saying that "money was not an issue" and then turning down our one year - 1.5 million dollar offer.
