Do you think A-Rod will jump ship only if the yankees win the world series, if they don't win the world series, neither, or he is leaving either way? _________________ Yankee Stadium is my favorite stadium; I'm not going to lie to you. There's a certain feel you get in Yankee Stadium.

Too early really, but I think he moves on. I would. _________________ The Site

| I personally think he's as good as gone. So much crap and scrutiny has been put on him, I think he'll walk and if I had to say where he wold go I would guess the Cubbies. I dont necessarily think this whole negociation thing about partial ownership is true, but just the fact Pinellia is there and A-Rod is a big fan of his. |

That is a good point, Patrick. And, if he slumps again in the post season, and all abandon him, that will make it easy for him to leave as well. Early this year, the Yankees said that if he did not re-sign during the season, then they wouldn't re-sign him. He declined, kind of upstaging the Yanks in a way, and now has had one of his best seasons, and will likely be the MVP. If the Yankees stand pat, and choose not to re-sign him, then I think he ends up in San Francsico; after all, they need someone to hit those splash-down home runs.
I don't see him with the Cubs; they had to pay Zambrano. _________________ www.chiefswarpath.com |

| I thought what was said was that if he opts out of his current deal, we won't re-sign him (because we're getting money from Texas). But, maybe I'm just forgetting something that happened earlier. |
That is what I understood as well. _________________ www.chiefswarpath.com |
