One of the greatest coaches never to see the Superbowl, tied for longest current tenure with one team, is out of Minnesota simply because of one rocky season:
http://dailynews.yahoo.com/h/ap/20020104/sp/fbn_vikings_green_6.html
ESPN reported that Tampa coach Tony Dungy may be coming to Minnesota. Who knows what will happen to Green...
...Heres my vision: Green coaches San Diego. Moss is so upset that Green is gone and misses him so much that he comes to San Diego to play for Green. The Chargers win next year's Superbowl in a landslide victory over the Minnesota Vikings and coach Mike Riley who miraculously rebounded from the loss of Green and Moss, thanks mostly to Coach Riley. ....very unlikely, in fact guaranteed unlikely, but its still a nice dream to have dont ya think? |

Haha.. Nice dreaming... Moss wouldn't help much, he only plays for real during MNF games...

| yeah, as if SD didn't learn enough about winers with the Ryan Leaf debacle. I'd leave Moss alone and draft a WR or big play TE. |

we have a big play TE, one of the best in the league, the chargers will make no effort to draft a TE - especially since our backup TE is better then the starters on many teams.
and our early picks (it looks like wewill have 6 or 7 overall) will be to improve the OL, prolly an OT. after that, our draft will look more at the OL but also the secondary. if the WR position does get adressed, dont expect it till very late unless some star player slips past everyone and would be a steal in the 3rd round.
...and i wasnt serious bout the moss thing |
