he's an awesome talent, but i think the defenses are gonna overload at stopping the run and really ruin his season. i mean, russell really didn't show me much last year and don't really know much about their receiveing corps, but i doubt they have any playmakers there to bail him out. $60,000,000 = about 800 yards and 5 or 6 td's this year.

I think that McFadden can be a premier back. He is a big guy, and should be able to shoulder the load. If McFadden is all the Raiders have, though, it might be a long season for McFadden.

How can they do that, with the way the rooks get paid right now? If they would have waited, he would have just sit out, and some other team would have picked him up. You're darned if you do, darned if you don't.

I totally agree that rookies are getting paid way too much. I think if McFadden is anything that people say he is, he should have a good year for the Raiders. Last year they had a solid running game, 6th best in the league as I recall so he should have plenty of help. They just need a quarterback and they may have one, we don't know yet. |
