I agree, Patrick. I know there are some people who don't like the way he reacted, but I liked it. I don't think the person asking the question had any business asking it. Calhoun is probably right about the amount of money the university makes, too.

| In fairness to Calhoun, I heard audio of the conference and it did seem as the reporter was just talking to stir the pot a bit (Mike Francesa said on his show that the reporter has a reputation for things like that). It didn't seem like the reporter did a whole lot of research before he asked the question, as Calhoun pointed out. The guy is being paid a million dollars per year to bring in $12 million in revenue. It's not as if Calhoun is sucking the university dry. There doesn't seem to be any reason to ask that question other than to start a controversy. |
