Some of the interesting games in the various tournaments tonight.
Stanford 68, Washington State 47 in the first round of the Pac-10 Tournament. Good bounce back game for them after the loss to Washington and the close win at Washington State last weekend.
Xavier 71, St. Joes 51 in the first round of the Atlantic 10 Tournament. St. Joes still should get a #1 seed though based on their games before that. |

A lot of upsets in the first round of Tournament play already. Memphis loses. Air Force loses. Syracuse loses. Providence loses. All previously ranked teams.
Arizona beats USC at the buzzer last night to get to the 2nd round of the Pac-10 Tournament.
So tonight in 2nd round Pac-10 play tonight it's Arizona vs. Washington and Stanford vs. Oregon. It would probably serve Stanford well if Washington and them won so they would face each other in the Pac-10 Championship Game tomorrow so Stanford can get a confidence boost by avenging their one loss to Washington from last Saturday. |

Stanford wins again tonight in the 2nd round. 80 to 71 (or something like that) over Oregon.
Face Washington again for the 2nd straight Saturday, this time in the Pac-10 Championship Game. |
