Most people would be pretty happy with 500,000. It's different when you're talking in lower terms. Plus this is baseball. If you really want a championship, stay with the Yankees.

First of all, a 50% raise in real life is different and you know that, your just being difficult.
This is baseball and 500,000 to 1,000,000 at the stage in his career is not a big deal at all.
Yes, if I was however old Cone was, have won World Series with the Yankees, they have been good to me and believed in me and given me the chance to pitch even when I was pitching poorly and I went 4-14 and they offered for me to come back to be the 5th starter for the defending champions, I would absolutely.
