Could be. Should he say it though?

"Goober"? hahaha best word ever.

Anyways, kickers shouldn't say anything, really. They are on the field maybe a total of 60 game seconds during the course of an average game, and they rarely touch an opposing player. On top of that, Peyton Manning is one of the most devoted QBs out there - I am not sure really where Vanderjagt is coming from.

Vanderjackass is an idiot. If he wasn't so good, I'd say trade him to the Bengals! The Colts have a problem, but running to Canada and complaining about your coach and QB isn't going to help, Mikey!

Yeah, kickers shouldn't really talk.

Easy on the expletives there.

I don't know if kickers shouldn't talk, because a good kicker is a key element of a great team. But, they just shouldn't do it to the press and stuff.

It may very well be true but Manning is a leader of the team and he shouldn't be making those comments publicly.

I saw him say this, I was cracking up the second he said it. I agree, it was a little over-the-top for him to say that, but it was quite funny.

However, I think we all forget where football evolved from, and how important kicking is to the history of the game. It is called football for a reason, and I think kickers deserve a little bit more respect than they get. Not much more but a bit more.

I am thinking that Vanderjagt returning to the Colts is becoming very unlikely. If he didn't garner such a high contract, I would say "come to San Diego!" But, I don't think the Chargers are in a position to pay him.

You sure you want a guy like that on your team?

They apparently made up, but he makes some dumb comments still.
