Hello,
Thank you for visiting SportsForums.net.
Unfortunately, I have some sad news to share. There's no easy way to say it. After more than 9 and 1/2 years, I have decided to close SportsForums.net. 
This is a decision that I have agonized over and thought very long and hard about. But, I feel like the time is right. There are serious personal and professional issues that I am facing that are demanding my attention and demanding that I focus on fewer projects. After much consideration, I have decided that this is one of the projects that I must step away from. I am sorry to have to do it.
I've spent a chunk of my life on this site. It's a part of me and I will miss it. I am so grateful for all of the great contributions that you and all of our members have made over the years. Thank you for supporting this community. I can't say this enough.
Thank you to all of my staff members over the years. Chris, Justin, Brian, Seamus, Spike, Nate and everyone who helped me to maintain this community and to pursue the goals of it.
The plan, at this moment, is to hang on to the name. So, you never know what the future holds. But, for now at least, this site is coming to an end. I will leave the community open for two weeks (until July 2) and then all forums will be closed. The site will remain online for an indefinite amount of time after that.
Once again, thank you for all of your support and contributions. I really appreciate it.
