I always thought Couch would come along.

Holcombe did do fairly well in some of his games.

I think give Couch a shot. If he doesn't play how a #1 pick should, use Holcombe.

Most of us want Holcombe to start but I think Couch will. That doesn't mean Butch won't bench him when he starts playing terrible.

Couch is too slow making his reads and he just doesn't have the awareness to make our offense run like it should. We've got lots of potential and Holcombe is definitely the best man to fill that spot.

Like last season (I wasn't one who cheered cause Couch got hurt), I cheered cuz I knew Kelly had a shot at bring us back against the Ravens. He almost won that game on a broken leg. Holcombe has a lot of heart and I believe he will be the starter at some point this season. He also played well in the Falcons game (which we had to have to make the Playoffs). Couch played the first quarter till he got hurt and he basically did next to nothing while he was in there.

I hate QB contraversies so I'm hoping Davis starts him right away but I'm thinking he's gonna wait till we start losing games.

I agree. I think Couch will start even though I think Holcolmb will become the starter later in the season.

Well, Holcombe had a better game statistically, but the game was plagued by alot of dropped balls. We'll have to wait another week to see who will start most likely.

Its evident which QB should be starting. Not only looking at the numbers, look how the team responded. K-Comb should definitely be the starter. Our defense is gonna need our offense to scores points until it gets better and actually learns how to tackle. If Couch starts then I'm thinking this season is only gonna last 16 games.

Unconfirmed reports from Cleveland Browns radio WTAM is that Kelly Holcomb will be named starter this evening by coach Butch Davis.

If this is true than I'm sure it will make many Browns fans very pleased (myself included).

As of right now its still unconfirmed but a good source is saying it will be Holcomb.
