So... the British Open is close to starting. Lets talk about it.

Obviously, the favorite is Tiger, but is there anyone that you think may break through?

I mean... all of the usual suspects (Mickelson, Els, Singh, Duval, etc.) are there, but then I'd say that someone that knows this course really well may have a shot.

Well, Montgomerie is leading after day 1, but he is a choker, he'll blow it.

Well, Duval won, I don't really like him all that much, but it is better than some other people winning it.

But then... Woosnam's caddy didn't notice that their were 15 clubs in his bag, when he is only allowed 14. So, he took a 2 stroke penalty, which may have cost him the British Open. That caddy is lucky to still have a job.

I'm not a big fan of Duval either...but he played well and earned it congrats to him.

Sucks for Woosnam, he had a good chance at winning it.

Hey Patrick,

It isn't the caddies fault that Woosnam had 15 clubs in his bag.

Woosnam said that it was his fault and it was.

He was at the range before teeing of trying to decide which driver to use for the round and forgot to take one out of the bag.

It isn't like the caddy is respnsible for picking what clubs the player is going to take on the round. It is always up to the player.
