| The Sox were sold to a group that, ironically, includes the New York Times. The group says they hope to renovate Fenway, and not move the team. Of course, this transaction depends on a 75% vote from the other MLB teams. The team was sold for $660M with a $40M assumed debt to raise the winning bid to $700M. |

I don't particualrly like the Yankees, but I still don't think the Red Sox need to win a World Series anytime soon.. 
They're cursed...

bah...stupid curse...i think baseball would benifit from the red sox winning a championship

| There is a lot of history, but that does not make them a good organization. AndI dont think they are "beloved" by anyone outside of Baaaaaastiiin. |
