no doubt they are both HOFers.
I think that I do not give Bonds the credit he is due because of my personal preferences. He is definitely an amazing athlete.
what about maddux? :

6-time 18 game winner in the '90s alone. and 4 Cy Youngs plus a gold glove every year since '90 doesnt hurt either |

best overall player in the 90s, hmmm, thats tough. its hard to say bonds because he didnt really explode until last season, but he has been fairly consistent for years. |
Hmm... Bonds won three MVP awards between 1990 and 1993 but he only exploded last season???

Dammit he did again today! I don't like him but it's almost like he's the best player ever these days.
I hate the Giants too so this was doubly bad. I was rooting for you guys too, defska to ruin the Giants' Season Opener. Oh well. |

| Its horrible, every time that guy steps up to the plate I get nervous because I know that if the pitcher hangs one pitch it is gone. We've been lucky so far, he has just missed on 2 occasions....but he killed us yesterday when it mattered. |

Well when he retires, maybe the Padres could get back to the playoffs. I'm sure Schilling and Johnson will be retired by then too

Wow, Barry Bonds did it again last night and today.
Homered to tie Harmon Killebrew's record last night against Milwaukee. And moved ahead of him today by homering to put him at 6th place on the all-time Home Run list.
Congratulations to Bonds. |
