A team just let the city... and they are trying to get one back there now... I am not sure if I like that, even if it is a good basketball city.

But, I like Larry Bird well enough, so it'd probably be cool.

Well why take a team out of the city and then expand there? God, I hate the business side of sports.

Well the thinking is that only reason the Hornets' fans stayed away is they got alienated by the current ownership (George Shinn and Ray Woolridge) so if there's another team there led by owners that the people of Charlotte will actually like, ie. a "Larry Bird", the fans will come back en masse.
