Do you think this is a good move for Donovan? Or do you think he should have stayed with the Gators?
I would have liked to see him stay with the Gators, to see how much of a dynasty he could have built with the team. He has already proven himself, but will he get it to transfer to the pro game?

i think he would of done better with the gators, but hey people go where the money is.............

Ok, backuup, now!
Now, Donovan wants to rescind his contract to coach the Magic, and go back to the Gators. Man, this is crazy!!!
The Magic ownership are upset. There were reports of the number of tickets sold once he was named coach. Now what?

oh wow..........man that is wack, im pretty sure that would make the magic franchise mad.............i would be too if i got a guy to sign then he changed his mind
so is he goin back to the gators or is he stuck with magic coz hes technically under contract?

So now he has the NBA upset at him, but if he goes back to the U of Fla., his team will be without it's 5 starters from last year! Take the money Billy, it's 27 million!!!!

Donovan now will go back to the Gators, but he is basically banned from signing another NBA contract for the next 5 years. He has some McDonald's All-Americans coming in next year, and I imagine he should be able to recruit still.
The Magic reported sales of 200 season tickets after the signing of Donovan as head coach. Therefore, I can see why the Magic might think they should be entitled to some form of compensation.
