Wait, for the 2001 Hurricanes, did Frank Gore and Clinton Portis split snaps? Because both are dominating in the NFL right now.
And yes, from what i read, that 2001 Miami team has got to be one of the best |

1995 Nebraska
'95 Nebraska completely dominated every opponent during the '95 season. They beat 3 top ten teams on their way to destroying a fourth (#2 Florida) in the Fiesta Bowl to win the Nat'l Championship. Many would argue that '01 Miami and '04 USC could make a case as well. '01 Miami had arguably the greatest collection of talent in college football history. However, with Larry Coker at the helm and Ken Dorsey under center, the 'Canes weren't as invincible as many would like to paint them. The 'Canes didn't beat a Top 10 team all regular season long and had close calls with Va. Tech (26-24) and Boston College in which Miami struggled mightily and didn't score an offensive touchdown. '04 USC was no different. The Trojans had their share of struggles having to play from behind on several occassions. |
