It depends on whether your talking about career or who was the best at their best also. Roy Jones Jr at his best is in my eyes the greatest fighter of all time, but RJJ at his best didn't last long. Many people have had great careers what about Rocky Marciano? 49 wins 0 losses and 43 KO not bad. _________________ http://moneymouth-sportstalk.blogspot.com/

I would have to say its Mike tyson. Apart from the fact that the guy is totally nuts, in his prime he was the most devastating boxer the world has ever seen. (My opinion only). There have been big hitters before (Louis, Dempsey, Foreman, etc..) and there will be big hitters in the future. But none have or will compare to Tyson. Based on technique and finesse i would have to say it would be between Ali and Marciano. A question that will be never truly answered apart from opinion.....
Cheers,

I don't know if he's the best or not, opinions differ depending on who you're talking to, but I know my favorite boxer of all time is Micky Ward. This guy had the heart of a lion and a left hook from hell. _________________ Texas raised and Texas proud |
